Attractive all year round, the Kilmarnock Willow is a charming ornamental dwarf weeping willow tree.
This delightful umbrella shaped deciduous tree with its small, dark green leaves is both fine and delicate, ideal for smaller gardens, and makes an interesting focal point either in the garden or in a pot on the patio.
- Salix caprea
- Overall height about 100cm above the soil
- 60cm clear stem, 40-45cm spread
Slender branches bear a profusion of furry catkins in late March through to early April, these then burst into golden-dusted spring catkins in late April through to May.
The Kilmarnock Willow tree is very easy to care for, tolerating most soil types and conditions, and requiring no pruning.
