Photinia (× fraseri 'Little Red Robin')
Photinia 'Little Red Robin' is a dwarf form of the extremely popular 'Red Robin'. Much like it's larger counterpart 'Red Robin' has long elliptical leaves, starting off a vivid red when young through to dark green with panicles of little white flowers in spring usually followed by red berries but this variety grows to much more manageable sizes perfectly suited to small hedges or potted shrub

Photinia 'Red Robin' has been granted an RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM) which is reserved for plants of outstanding excellence.
These easy maintenance, hardy plants thrive in full sun to partial shade and can tolerate a variety of soil types, even very poor and heavy (clay) soils. Photinia 'Red Robin' is happy in a border or in a container and also makes wonderful, compact ornamental hedges. Fully frost hardy, prune lightly immediately after flowering to retain shape or reduce size.
